Each Recipe has a number of components

A Description of the end product
- A brief description of the dish, sometimes featuring a dedication
- Every single recipe includes a large, clear photo of the dish. I argue this is a non-negotiable feature for any cookbook, but if you’re new to vegan cooking seeing the final result is particularly important

Information about the recipe and its preparation
- Calories and protein measurements are included to inform personal nutrition goals
- Total time spent. Other recipes detail the time needed for baking, oven cooking, refrigeration, proofing etc.
- A numbered method section with detailed but comprehensive steps. Ingredients used are in bold to help you identify what to use when

Information that helps you apply the recipe flexibly
- Sub-headings within the ingredients list to show the different components of the dish
- Tips on substitutions for budgeting and flavour preferences
- Points on how to alter the texture of the dish
- Personal product recommendations
- Reference to other recipes that compliment the dish as an added component
